How can the posting date be imported directly from the invoice's details?
If the posting date is included in a correct element in the invoice's XML file, the posting date can be imported to Dooap. To enable the feature for importing the posting date from the invoice's XML file, please contact Dooap support via email support@dooap.com.
Functionality
To add the posting date to Dooap from imported invoice's XML data, the posting date must be included in the following element on the XML file.
HEADER/ORDER_CONFIRMATION/ORDER_CONFIRMATION_DATE/DATE
Notes
- If the posting date is not located in that specific element, the posting date in Dooap will be selected as usual.
- Posting date can still be manually changed although it is included in the invoice's XML file.
- If the fiscal period is closed in D365/AX2012, the posting date will be automatically adjusted to fall within an open period - similar way as when the posting date is not retrieved from the invoice's XML.
