Resetting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Dooap Analytics, hosted in Dooap's domain, requires guest users to log in using MFA. If your device changes, follow these steps to register your new device.

After setting up Authenticator App, it's recommended to also set up your phone number as a secondary authentication method so you can log in if you lose the device. Instructions to set up SMS.

Steps to activate a new device for MS Authenticator

  1. Log into Microsoft My Sign-ins
  2. In top right corner, select your Profile icon and Switch Organization
  3. Select Dooap Oy
  4. If prompted for MFA, use your old device.
    1. If you don't have the old device, click "I cannot use my authenticator" and select SMS
    2. If you did not register a phone number, ask your Organization's key user to contact Dooap support to have the MFA devices reset on your account.
  5. Click Add sign-in method, and complete the wizard with your new device.

Q: I did this already in my organization. Should I do it again for Dooap?

A: Yes.

Each Entra ID domain hosts it's own set of MFA device registrations, which also apply to guest users. This means that even if you already registered your new device in your own organization, you'll need to do this for your guest tenants as well.
