Release Policy and Timeline

Dooap has updated the release schedule based on Microsoft D365FO release cadence and customer feedback.

The software is thoroughly tested through a internal quality assurance process before its release to UAT environments. The release notes will be available along with UAT delivery.

This timeline is based on the current plan and is subject to change. Possible changes will be informed separately.

RELEASE PROCESS

New Dooap release will require customer to deploy a fresh D365/AX* Dooap package. The D365 package will be shared to customers for installation to both UAT & Production environments. Please see next page for architecture and update process responsibilities.

A notification will be sent when a fresh package is available for deployment. Latest package must be installed as requested to ensure Dooap works as expected.

Customer should deploy the package to D365/AX UAT environment as soon as possible and schedule the Production update for the corresponding production release date. Dooap will request customer to cancel and re-schedule production deployment to back-up date if blocking issues arise during the UAT period.

* For AX2012 installations, the model will be delivered to the target AX2012 installations (UAT and Production) in cooperation with the particular AX2012 partner.

D365FO SERVICE UPDATES AND DOOAP

Dooap follows the update policy of Microsoft D365FO and is compatible with D365FO versions that are no older than one service updates. Support schedule for new D365FO versions is listed in the timeline above. The D365FO service update policy is available at Microsoft Learn portal. For specific version support inquiries please contact support@dooap.com.

PATCH RELEASE POLICY

To ensure expected functionality and data security, additional patch releases outside this release timeline may be required in some occasions. A patch release can be published for Dooap web application or D365 package or both. Patches are scheduled and communicated separately.
